Finance & Administrative Services - Financial and Administrative Services together with UITS Human Resources and Marketing & Communication are part of the shared services to provide organizational support to all of the CIO Division, Office of Compliance, and Planning Office.

Financial and Administrative Services is responsible for managing and reporting on the CIO Division’s approximately $77 million operating budget and is dedicated to providing strategic decision-support to executive leadership. We have an exceptional team that seeks effective solutions for our customers. Together, we are improving external and internal financial reporting, while developing and maintaining administrative best business practices that include financial transparency, insights and solutions. 

Financial Business Partners

The Financial Business Partners are responsible for the planning and budgeting aspects of financial services. This includes in-depth analyses and projections of income and expenses, contract analyses and business process improvements.

Financial Operations Center (FOC)

The FOC supports a broad variety of business operations including building maintenance, requisition workflow, billing, accounts payable/receivable, payment dispute resolution, MOU/SLA management, contractor management, and the financial aspects of the telecommunications unit.

Purchasing, Contracting, and Software Supply Chain

The CIO Division Buyer manages the acquisition and contracting of IT related goods and services. Given the specialized nature of IT, the software supply chain manager drives strategic alignment of major institutional software investments, including seeking and coordinating efficiencies in managing software needs across the University.

Building Management

The Building Manager is responsible for Computer Center building access, office relocations, coordination with Facilities Management for building issues, and incoming/outgoing mail/package delivery.
