Student Email Moving this Summer
Student email will be migrated off the university’s Gmail service (CatMail) to the Microsoft Outlook in Office 365 service this summer. The date is yet to be determined. Student email addresses will continue to be [netid]@arizona.edu. This move is taking place in order to have all current members of the campus community on the same email system.
All email currently in a student’s CatMail account will be migrated to their Outlook account. After the migration, they should check their email at outlook.arizona.edu, and set up phone, tablet, or computer email applications for their university Outlook account. Their ability to access and use other Google apps will remain.
Current Students and Admits with CatMail accounts will be included in the account change and migration. Students who graduate May 2025, degree completers not continuing at U of A, and retirees using CatMail will not be included.
