AnyConnect VPN upgrade Sunday, Nov. 20
The new version will download and install the next time you connect to VPN
This Sunday, Nov. 20, from 7:30 p.m.–11 p.m., UITS will be upgrading the Cisco AnyConnect software, which allows your computer to connect to the University of Arizona VPN (virtual private network). The VPN is required to access certain systems and applications for University and departmental use from offsite. The AnyCorrect upgrade corrects connection and performance issues.
The next time you connect to VPN after the upgrade, you will experience a pause while the new version automatically downloads and installs. Then you will see a popup notification to restart your computer to use the upgraded version. You may decline, continue your current VPN session, and restart at a later time.
