Sympa Maintenance Dec. 21-22
Delivery of emails to list.arizona.edu will be paused for 24 hours
The university’s Sympa email list system will be unavailable Saturday, Dec. 21, 6 p.m. to Sunday, Dec. 22, 6 p.m. for scheduled maintenance to complete a system upgrade.
During this time, the Sympa portal at list.arizona.edu will be offline. Sympa list emails (@list.arizona.edu) will be temporarily paused and delivered at the end of the maintenance window. UAlert emails will continue to be delivered through Sympa without interruption.
Details on Sympa Upgrade
Sympa will be migrated from local servers to the Cloud to improve system availability, reduce service interruptions, and modernize the user interface to provide a more accessible experience. Once the migration is complete, Sympa users will be able to send and receive list emails as usual. List Owners will find instructions for administering lists in the new system at Sympa – Create & Manage Lists.
