Is Your Phone Ready for School?
Make sure you are ready for the start of the semester by running this top 7 checklist on your mobile device!

Safety first! Do you have a lock on your phone? Use a password, fingerprint, face recognition or other means to make sure other people can’t get your private data. Read more phone security tips.
DuoMobile app. Speaking of security, have you set up Duo Mobile for your NetID 2-factor authentication? It’s the easiest, most secure way to log in. Learn more about how to set it up.
UAWiFi. Is your phone using the campus fast, secure wireless network? Just use your NetID and password to log into UAWiFi.
SafeCats app. Watch out for your physical safety, as well. This app has numerous campus safety services and ways for you to connect. (If you have the LiveSafe app, replace it with SafeCats.) Find out more about SafeCats.
University of Arizona app. The U of A mobile app gives you a map to navigate campus, your schedule, Sun Tran routes, and more resources. Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Learn more about the U of A app.
CatCard for you Digital Wallet. New in the U of A app is the option to get your CatCard on your phone! It’s available for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android phones. Tap and go to pay on campus and enter campus buildings. Find out more about CatCard formats.
Outlook Email. Is your phone set up to check your University Outlook account? Be ready to reach out or stay current on the go. Get Outlook mobile setup how-to’s. (Alumni and Retirees are currently still in Gmail/CatMail, but should stay tuned this fall.)
Bonus setups. If you really want to have everything in your pocket, here are a couple more ideas: Go to your phone browser and bookmark/favorite catcloud.arizona.edu for the CatCloud hub collecting a lot of university systems into one place for your convenience. And you can download the Brightspace Pulse app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to stay up to date on your course information in Brightspace D2L.
