Supporting the University’s Commitment to Serving Veterans

At the University of Arizona, Veterans Day is more than a moment of recognition. It’s a reflection of the university’s ongoing commitment to those who serve. From the nation’s top-ranked ROTC programs to the support provided through the Veterans Education and Transition Services (VETS) Center, Arizona continues to champion opportunity, belonging, and success for veterans and military-affiliated students.

Within University Information Technology Services (UITS), that same commitment to service runs deep. Several members of the UITS team are veterans themselves, bringing the discipline, adaptability, and resilience shaped by their military experiences to the university’s technology mission. Their perspective strengthens a department already centered on service - delivering secure systems, reliable tools, and innovative solutions that keep Wildcats connected and supported.
