Submit a session proposal before July 7 at 5:00 p.m. (MST)

Mission

IT Summit brings university Staff together to empower our community through shared knowledge, meaningful connections, and practical technology insights that drive innovation and service excellence.

Overview

Do you have insights, skills, knowledge, or expertise to share that could benefit IT staff in their professional or personal development?

UITS is seeking engaging 45-minute sessions that inspire learning, professional growth, and collaboration across the organization. We welcome presentations, demonstrations, panels, and hands-on workshops that provide practical skills, innovative ideas, technology insights, and especially interactive experiences attendees can apply in their work.

This year’s theme, One Team: Powering Technology Together, emphasizes collaboration across teams and a shared focus on delivering IT services and experiences for our campus community in support of the University of Arizona's mission.

Priority will be given to proposals that align with the conference theme and one of the following conference tracks:

  1. AI Innovation — Explore AI in action through demonstrations, case studies, workshops, and discussions that provide practical skills, insights, and ideas to take back to work.
  2. Skills Lab — Learn by doing through hands-on sessions that build technical, professional, and workplace skills while providing practical tools and techniques.
  3. Technology Deep Dive — Dive into the technical details behind platforms, systems, and services through architecture reviews, implementation stories, demonstrations, and expert discussions.
  4. Collaboration — Explore how teams work together to solve challenges, improve services, and achieve shared goals through discussions, case studies, and interactive sessions.
  5. Growth & Leadership — Build leadership capabilities, broaden your perspective, and develop professional skills through workshops, discussions, and conversations that inspire growth and continuous learning.
  6. Teaching & Learning — Explore teaching and learning strategies, technologies, and practices through demonstrations, discussions, and shared experiences that support student success and engagement.
  7. Research Tech — Explore the technologies, data, and computing resources that power research through demonstrations, case studies, and collaborative discussions.
