Finding ways for teams to stay connected while working remotely can have challenges, but the University of Arizona’s IT Community has continued their mutual support to colleges and departments across campus through a daily Zoom continuity meeting.

As the University joins the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, technologies are available to support online learning and remote work.

Developers and business analysts on the UITS UAccess Employee team install, monitor, and coordinate changes to the university’s employee workforce system. For 2020 this included UCAP.

The new campus app update, Arizona Mobile 5.0, is focused around helping students, staff and campus visitors navigate more easily.

In the largest plant genome project to date, an international consortium of researchers generated gene sequences from more than 1,100 species, providing a framework for 1 billion years of green plant evolution. The data are available in the CyVerse Data Commons.
