Coming Together for the IT Summit
The IT Summit is upon us, and the University of Arizona’s IT professionals really make the annual summit an event not to be missed.
“The knowledge, creativity and dedication to service of University's IT community always impresses me.”, states Darcy Van Patten, Chief Technology Officer. I love seeing my colleagues from across the institution come together to learn, laugh and celebrate our contributions to the university's mission.”
This year’s summit aims to offer participants and behind-the-scenes view into topics that are at the forefront of IT today. “This year, I'm particularly excited to moderate the keynote panel on ChatGPT and generative AI with diverse cast of university experts that will expand all of our perspectives on how to harness human-AI interactions for positive impact”, stated Darcy.
This day-long event will not only increase the IT knowledge of IT professionals, but will be fun, interactive, and attendees will have several opportunities to win great prizes by participating.
To get the most out of your experience, there are a couple of things the IT Summit Planning team strongly recommends:
- Download the official app of the IT Summit, Whova, to your mobile device as soon as possible. This app will be the primary resource for connecting with presenters, see sessions, participate in the contests, and building overall connections with IT professionals within the university.
- Pre-register for the sessions to ensure your space in the conversation.
