Ravneet has been with UAIR since 2019 and was recently promoted into his current role as Chief Data Officer and Associate Vice President of UAIR. His current focus is helping the University of Arizona evolve from being a data rich organization to an insights driven organization. His efforts for success include building a stronger data culture within the organization, and leading efforts around data governance, data privacy and data science.
Under Ravneet’s leadership, UAIR is responsible for developing and maintaining data assets that support both operational and strategic efforts, as well as planning and policy-making processes within the institution. UAIR also developed and maintains the institution’s Interactive Fact Book, conducts specialized student and faculty studies, supports peer analyses and is responsible for federal and state institutional reporting.
A University alum, Ravneet completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Masters of Science in Engineering Management, both from the University of Arizona. He has over 15 years of experience implementing best data warehousing, business intelligence and reporting practices at different universities.
