Delivery of emails to list.arizona.edu will be paused for 24 hours

In the coming months, the University of Arizona will begin consolidating its Trellis Marketing Cloud business unit (BU) licenses from 40 separate accounts to 10 by July 1, 2025. This strategic decision will significantly reduce institutional software costs, simplify the user experience, and enhance coordination and collaboration among users across the university.

Starting Thursday, June 13, the University will implement Mimecast, a new email spam filter to enhance protection against viruses and malware while reducing unwanted emails received by students and employees.

The U-System, a service to create websites and manage secure file transfers, had login access disabled on June 1, 2023. U-System websites will remain online until June 30, 2024, when they will be decommissioned.

On Friday, Feb. 16, the University will implement a streamlined NetID+ two-factor authentication experience, Duo Universal Prompt, to simplify the verification process, increase security and provide a more user-friendly interface.

Some members of the University community have recently received a phishing email that aims to steal NetID and password information.

The Jira and Confluence servers will freeze Friday, December 8, 9:30 p.m., and their cloud spaces will be available Monday, December 11, 7:00 a.m.
