New Institutional Diversity Data Webpage Debuts
University Analytics and Institutional Research’s (UAIR’s) mission has always been to provide data that empowers campus decision-makers, informs policy and practice, and tells the Arizona story. This mission is accomplished through data tools and services that are built on accuracy, dependability, and system improvements; UAIR staff prides themselves on making sure these tools and services are made accessible to the campus community. The UAIR website is one such tool worth spending time reviewing.
UAIR recently announced a new Institutional Diversity Data Webpage that spotlights information and links to major diversity dashboards that were released last spring. This includes the Institutional Diversity Dashboard, which is available to all UArizona employees, the Academic College Diversity Workbook, a new interactive workbook that is publicly available in their Interactive Fact Book, and the My UAccess Details dashboard, which stores employee demographic data. This new page also hosts UAIR’s Race/Ethnicity Reporting FAQs , where detailed explanations of both 'IPEDS' and 'Inclusive' race/ethnicity reporting guidelines can be found. Lastly, mentions of diversity data in the news across the campus community and beyond can be found in this new tool for data exploration and understanding at the university.
