SERVICE MANAGEMENT

Juan Diego Reisinger

BSBA in Business Economics and Business Management

Since graduating with my BS many things have evolved for me. Currently I am finishing up my Master in Accountancy (MAcc). Recently I have let go of landscaping as I have been finishing off my degree. The next hurdle for me is studying for my CPA over the summer and then participating in KPMG's new program KPMG Kickstart, which will allow me to complete half of the CPA exams before starting my career. In October I will begin my new position as an audit associate at KPMG. I see myself being a partner in the audit practice, but careers can go in so many different directions. Ultimately, I just want to become a CPA and take my career as far as I can, and never lose sight of being the best person/employee/friend I can be.

My time at UITS as a student BA has been a needed learning experience, and I am grateful for having this position throughout my time at UA. Entering this job I lacked confidence in working with computers, I was a debits and credits kind of accountant. The tasks involved with my position taught me the fundamentals of working well with excel, software such as ServiceNow, and communication across multiple platforms. Accounting is shifting to relying on data analysis tools and working remotely, so I feel that this role helped me learn a lot that I can apply towards my future career.

Sean Lested

BA in Games and Behavior

I joined this team in January 2021 and I am so thankful for the opportunities to learn from this incredible team. I started working on the ServiceNow project where I transferred and linked data to produce and ensure quality content pages and knowledge articles. I also worked on Zoom Phone Migration Project where I checked equipment inventory, updated MS Forms, created phone lists and BAT files, and organized files in Teams and Box. I know this experience will help my future career and goals.

Over the past 2 years, I’ve had the opportunity to assist Campus Web Services in building, testing, and launching numerous sites for the migration project. Of these sites, I’ve had the chance to build the new Dean of Students site, as well as assist with building Arizona Quickstart site. It has been a great pleasure for me to work with this team for the time I have and I look forward to see the success Campus Web Services achieves in the future! This May, I am graduating from the Eller College of Management with a degree in Management Information Systems and Operations & Supply Chain Management, along with a minor in Computer Science. IT Web Analyst
BSBA, Management Information Systems, Eller College of Management

My background always revolved around computers, starting as a CS major here at the U of A but since transitioning into a more business aspect of technology with MIS. So when I saw the opening for a position here at the UITS, it felt like an absolute no brainer to apply and ultimately accept after the interview process. And boy, was I right. Since joining my spring semester of my Junior year, I have learned so much when it comes to the all the different aspects of building and migrating websites. And being able to see my work being used for all sorts of groups, clubs, and activities on campus has been beyond rewarding.I will be graduating from the Eller College of Management with a 3.65 GPA and so many great technical and soft skills learned. Thank you UITS for preparing me for the real world by allowing me to grow so much over the last year. After graduation, I will be going back home to Chicago to begin working as a Technical Consultant for the industry-leading firm Capgemini.

Emily Seo

IT Web Analyst
BSBA, Management Information Systems, Eller College of Management

Hello, I'm Emily Seo, and I would love to share my amazing experiences working with Campus Web Services over the past year with you. During my time there, I have had the chance to work on many exciting projects, from assisting with the migration and testing of over 100 sites to contributing to the creation of some of our larger projects, like the W.A. Franke Honors, Greek, and Tech Launch sites. It has been an absolute joy collaborating with other students and full-time employees, and I have especially loved making the front homepages look fancier. Fixing existing websites to improve accessibility and user interface has been my biggest thrill!

I am so grateful for the incredible opportunities and experiences I have had at Campus Web Services, and they have inspired me to pursue my passions further. With a 3.8 GPA, I am graduating this May from the Eller College of Management with a MIS undergraduate degree, and I am thrilled to be starting my new role as a Cloud + Data Consultant at Insight Enterprise in July. I can't wait to take on new challenges and learn even more in this exciting new position! Looking ahead, I plan to return to Eller to pursue my Master's degree in either an MBA or MIS program. With such a bright future ahead of me, I am excited to keep growing and thriving in all areas of my life.
