The UA Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides a secure connection from your home computer, laptop, or mobile device to the UA's network. It is also a valuable security tool when you are on an unsecured wireless network (e.g., coffee shops, airports).

UA's VPN Client is Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.

Note to Mac users: If you upgrade to Catalina (maxOS 10.15) and have previously downloaded Cisco AnyConnect (earlier than version 4.8.00175), you might not be able to establish a VPN connection or might receive system pop-up messages. Delete your existing AnyConnect app and follow the instructions to re-download the latest version of AnyConnect.

Note to IT Professionals: VPN Group Setup Information can be found on the System Administrators' IT Professionals page (requires UA NetID and password to access).

Request the Service:

Log in to UA VPN - you will be prompted to log in to the latest AnyConnect client. If you are not prompted to download when siging in then click on the tabs: AnyConnect > Start AnyConnect > Download.

See Support, How-To's, & Info tab for instructions.
