Eduroam is a secure, worldwide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam allows students, researchers, and staff from participating institutions to obtain fast and secure Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply choosing the eduroam network from their wireless devices. Using a secure wireless network is recommended for any time you will be accessing a site where you use a password and/or submit credit card or other personal or financial information.
Traveling faculty, staff, and students can visit another participating institution and use that institution's eduroam secure wireless network.
- Choose eduroam from the wireless networks detected by your computer or device.
- Enter either <your NetID>@arizona.edu or<your NetID>@email.arizona.edu for the Username.
- Enter your UA NetID password for the Password.
- Click Join. You will be connected to the institution's secure wireless network.
Note: We encourage you to use eduroam for secure access if you are within the wireless network area of a participating institution.
Visitors to UA
Visitors from participating institutions visiting the University of Arizona campus can use UA's eduroam secure wireless network, which provides the same speed and security as UAWiFi.
- Choose eduroam from the wireless networks detected by your computer or device.
- Enter your institution's login for the Username.
- Enter your institution's login password for the Password.
- Click Join. You will be connected to the UA's eduroam secure wireless network.
Note: We encourage visitors without UA credentials to use eduroam if they are from a participating institution.
