D2L

D2L (Desire2Learn) provides instructors and students with an online space for traditional classroom courses, online classes, or hybrids.

Instructors and students can use D2L for:

  • Course syllabi
  • Readings
  • Assignments
  • Quizzes
  • Grades
  • Course files
  • Classmate lists
  • Assignment dropboxes
  • Online discussions

Textbooks for the class may be digitally delivered inside D2L. Learn more about the Inclusive Access program.

Tools such as Panopto, Zoom, and Examity are also accessible through D2L.

D2L Community sites are available to any University of Arizona Community effort which is not-for-credit or used by non-UA affiliates (individuals without UA credentials). Visit D2L Community for more information.

Request the Service: 
Instructors - Getting Started
Request a D2L course site by completing the Request a Course Site form.
  • Instructors must request a course site for each class they intend to teach in a particular semester. 
  • Site will be ready within 24 hours.
Log in at d2l.arizona.edu using your UA NetID and password.
 
Students - Getting Started
Log in at d2l.arizona.edu using your UA NetID and password.
  • D2L is only available if the instructor for a course has requested a D2L course site. Instructors are not required to use D2L. Contact your instructors to see if D2L will be used for a particular class.
  • See How-To's if you are having difficulties finding your course in D2L.
