FY20 IT Annual Report Released

Friday, December 18, 2020

What the University’s IT community accomplished in FY20, both in University Information Technology Services and in units across campus, is nothing short of extraordinary.  Many of these successes are highlighted in the FY20 University of Arizona Information Technology Services Annual Report at annualreport.it.arizona.edu.

While 2020 was undoubtedly one of our greatest challenges, we continued to make progress on our operational maturity to achieve the goals outlined in the IT Security Performance Audit. A variety of Information Technology projects and initiatives advanced University priorities in support of curriculum; teaching and learning; research; diversity, equity, inclusion; health (Test, Trace, Treat); and marketing and communications.

In the FY20 report, we continued to highlight some very innovative campus partner IT initiatives underway. I invite you to review the article about tech inspired learning at the College of Nursing and College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. In addition to recognizing the innovative work in our colleges and campus units, there are success stories and metrics for each of the services that UITS provides to the University.

Thank you to IT staff for their dedication, their collaboration, and their perseverance in keeping the university community connected in FY20.
