OU & Exchange Delegated Administration Training
Overview
OU and Exchange Delegated Administration training is intended to deliver a high level overview of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange with a more detailed presentation of CatNet and UAConnect specifics. It also delves into practical applications of OU and Exchange administration within CatNet and UAConnect. Current and new campus IT staff that intend to participate in the administration of CatNet and UAConnect should attend a training workshop session and are encourage to attend a lab session as well.
Objectives
- Understand the basic architecture of CatNet
- Understand OU delegation and the applicable policies
- Understand Exchange role based delegation as it applies in CatNet and UAConnect
- Access and use Active Directory Users and Computers to create and manage Active Directory objects
- Access and use Group Policy Management Console to create, modify and link group policies
- Access and use the Exchange Management Console (EMC) to create and manage Exchange objects
- Access and use the Exchange Management Shell to create and manage Exchange objects
Prerequisites or Recommended Skills/Knowledge
Students should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
