NetID+ (Plus) UAConnect Login Instructions

Associated Service: 
NetID+ (Plus)

All NetID+ login methods (smartphones/tablets, text message, phone call, hardware token) can be used when logging into UAConnect (also known as Outlook Web Application or OWA).

  • Smartphones and Tablets
  • Switching Duo Push Device
  • SMS Text Messaging
  • Phone Call (Cell Phone or Landline)
  • Yubikey Hardware Token

Smartphones and Tablets

1. Go to the UAConnect Sign-on Screen. Enter your NetID and password and click sign in.

2. Make sure that the appropriate device is highlighted in the Log in using dropdown field. Select Duo Push. Click the checkbox by Remember this device for 30 days, then click the checkbox by Automatically send a push to XXX-XXX-XXXX from now on. Click Login.

After you select Automatically send a push to XXX-XXX-XXXX from now on, that device will automatically be prompted when you log into UAConnect.

Note:  If you have previously selected a device for auto push and wish to select a different one, go to Switching Duo Push Device.

3. A notification will be sent to the Duo Mobile application on your smartphone or tablet.

4. Select Approve on your device.

5. You will be successfully logged into OWA.

Note:  If you have previously selected a device for auto push and wish to select a different one, click Cancel in the lower right hand corner, and you will be able to select a different device.

SMS Text Messaging

1. Go to the UAConnect Sign-on Screen. Enter your NetID and password, and click sign in.

2. Make sure that the appropriate device is highlighted in the Log in using dropdown field. Select Enter a Passcode.

3. Enter the next passcode from the text message sent to your cell phone. Click the checkbox by Remember this device for 30 days, then click Login.

Note: In the bottom left corner of the menu, you will see a hint as to which passcode you should use next from your list of 10 passcodes. If you need more passcodes, click Send Codes in the lower right corner of the menu.

4. You will be successfully logged into OWA.

Phone Call (Cell Phone or Landline)

1. Go to UAConnect Sign-on Screen. Enter your NetID and password and click sign in.

2. Make sure that the appropriate device is highlighted in the Log in using dropdown field. Click the checkbox by Remember this device for 30 days, then Select Call Me.

3. A call will be sent to your phone. Answer and press 1.

4. You will be successfully logged into OWA.

Yubikey Hardware Token

1.  Go to the UAConnect Sign-on Screen. Enter your NetID and password and click sign in.

2. Make sure that Token is highlighted in the Log in using dropdown field. Click the checkbox by Remember this device for 30 days, then Click Enter a Passcode. Plug your Yubikey into your device.

3. Click your cursor into the field by Passcode and hit the passcode button on the Yubikey. Click Login.

4. You will be successfully logged into OWA.
