Classroom Technology Services Rental Policies

Classroom Technology Services

Some Classroom Technology Services are fee-based depending on client affiliation.

Track I

Clients who have a course listed in the Schedule of Classes directory are NOT charged for equipment usage. Classes which have been opened to the public are not included; these will fall into either the Track II or Track III categories. Classes opened to the public allow people who are not students registered for the course, instructors of the course, instructor assistants, or guest lecturers to attend.

Track II

Clients officially associated with The University of Arizona: departments, administration, and officially recognized student clubs (ASUA recognized) that do not charge admission or registration fees for their events. This also includes any classes that have been "opened to the public" where the public is not charged to attend, as well as orientations, workshops, seminars, lectures, or meetings held by departments or administration.

Track III

Clients not officially associated with The University of Arizona who are using UA facilities, or clients officially associated with The University of Arizona who are charging for attendance or registration fees for the event, workshop, orientation or meeting for which Equipment Services is providing support. This also includes any classes that have been "opened to the public" where the public is charged a fee to attend.

Accessories

A/C extension cords, carousel slide projector remote extension cords, power strips etc., shall accompany the equipment at no charge. These items are not available for individual orders unless approved by a supervisor.

Off Campus Deliveries

The charge for equipment setup and pickup at locations off campus, within the city of Tucson, is $65.00 per day.

Late Charges

Late charges are assessed by adding additional rental days. Total shall not exceed full replacement cost of equipment.

Tech Time

Any additional time beyond delivery, setup, and breakdown can accrue extra charges.

*Note: Orders placed after our regular service hours will incur additional charges for equipment and support.
