Computer Lab Consultant
Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR)
Salary Start: $10.50 hourly
Computer Lab Consultants (CLC) practice their computer skills and learn new ones by assisting University of Arizona students, staff and faculty in using the equipment and software available at our four General Computer Lab locations on campus. Consultants answer questions about Microsoft Office applications, SFTP, SSH and web browsers. In addition, CLCs provide assistance to students, staff and faculty by demonstrating how to register their laptop for campus Internet access and providing referrals for helpdesk services. If you have two years’ experience using Windows or Macintosh hardware/software, the Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity with the file transfer protocols such as SFTP and SSH, along with good verbal and written communication skills, then OSCR is looking for an energetic and responsible individual like you to be a Computer Lab Consultant.
Federal Work-Study eligible. Not eligible for graduate assistantships.
Applications remain open, and resumes will be reviewed as openings are available. Re-apply every semester to ensure we have your current availability schedule. This is the starting position for all OSCR student jobs. Apply for a CLC position to work at OSCR.
