Overview: Users were unable to access multiple university services.
Date and Time: Wednesday, April 12th, 1:57 p.m. to 3:38 p.m.
Services Affected: WebAuth protected services
Impact to Campus: Traffic had exceeded current capacity restrictions, which were then adjusted.
Planned Operation: UITS found there were an abnormally large amount of concurrent login requests, which exhausted our database connection pools on some hosts..
